Overpriced and Not Good

My friends and I saw the sign for the restaurant on the street and decided to eat here for lunch. Upon the first bite, I was extremely disappointed that I had just wasted 1900 yen on something that I could've made 30x better and cheaper at home. And get this, the miso soup on the side...? Literally miso water. (My friends also were shocked after trying it.)
It wasn't any better for my other non-vegan friends either. One said her fried fish didn't taste fresh, another said her ~1500 yen tonkatsu curry was ok but not worth the price she paid, one ordered ice cream and we could've sworn it looked exactly like this one ice cream from the conbini.
I wanted to complain but all of us have bad Japanese and decided against it.
I don't want to bash these guys, at least they took halal and vegan food into consideration and they're servers were nice too. I really hope this and/or others can get through to them.
