Ton-Ten-Kan

The shop's name comes from the sound made when a master swordsmith and his apprentice take turns striking with their hammers. When the two are perfectly in sync, it makes a rhythmic "ton-ten-kan" sound. In other words, "ton-ten-kan" is the sound of "things going well." We named the shop with the hope that everything in the lives, work, and all aspects of life of everyone who visits will "go well." We offer products with a story behind them, such as everyday Japanese goods that are good to use, comfortable clothing made with Japanese women in mind, pesticide-free tea, and gluten-free baked goods.
