Cafe＆Guesthouse kokorakara

Ikeda Town, Fukui Prefecture, is a small farming and mountain village surrounded by trees. Kokora Kara is located in this town, where people live in harmony with nature. After taking over a private home where such lifestyles were practiced and struggling with DIY projects, we opened a small cafe and inn in 2022. Our recipes are inspired by ingredients sprouting in the fields of Ikeda Town, Fukui Prefecture, a town 90% forested. All of our dishes are vegetarian (no animal products are used). Our menu changes depending on what's available at the time. Local ingredients can even be used to create dishes from faraway lands. Enjoy seasonal flavors that can only be found here. Reservations are required for lunch only. Please contact cgkokora@gmail.com by noon the day before your visit. Reservations are not required for cafe time from 1:30 PM. Please feel free to visit. *During the winter season (January through March), we only accept reservations for the lunch, sweets, and drink set course.
