Founded in 1909, this sweet shop was opened by the second generation Katsura Bunnosuke, a Kamigata Rakugo performer, after he retired from the stage. You can enjoy traditional flavors in the atmospheric space of Kiyomizu, Kyoto. Our specialties are "warabi mochi" and "amazake". ◆ Warabi mochi Made with carefully selected "real warabi powder", it has a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a unique chewy texture. It is a masterpiece that harmonizes the subtle aroma of cinnamon and the rich flavor of Kyoto kinako. ◆ Amazake Amazake is made using traditional techniques inherited from the time of the store's founding, and is prepared only with rice and rice malt, and is sugar-free and non-alcoholic. It is characterized by its mellow sweetness and high nutritional value. ◆ Attention to ingredients Our store uses carefully selected domestic ingredients such as red beans, agar, and shiratama, and carefully prepares each one. Please enjoy high-quality sweets such as anmitsu, matcha, and matcha parfait. In winter, we sell freshly baked mitarashi dango smothered in our homemade sauce made with kelp stock, and in summer, we also sell shaved ice. "Inaka-kori" is our specialty original shaved ice made with fluffy shaved ice topped with special kinako syrup and warabimochi (starch mochi).
